The KalSafe “How to be an Effective Safety Leader©” Program

Introduction
We will make you an Effective Safety Leader by enabling you to use well proven processes about accurate Observation and effective Communication in the workplace backed up with a regular safety audit program, aimed at protecting our most precious resource-people. The training program has a very strong focus on influencing what people are thinking and believing (mind) as opposed to doing when often it is too late and reactive.

• “How to be an Effective Safety Leader©” Packaged program consisting of two one day courses delivered across the organization:
• “How to be an Effective Safety Leader©” ESL 1 for Senior Management & Supervisors
• “How to be an Effective Safety Leader©” ESL 2 for Supervisors

All programs are supported with numerous videos to make the training more effective and indeed entertaining.

ESL 2 is a well proven Behavioral audit process that Managers and Supervision need to perform to stop people getting hurt but also to verify the training delivered in ESL 1 is effective. In this way the program is sustainable and not just a “one shot” superficial program.

One very important feature of these programs is their flexibility and the ability of Kalsafe to be able to reference your existing Health Safety and Management Systems (HSEMS) within the course content (core content will remain the same though). We recognize that just delivering a "generic course" may loose ownership and engagement of the audience. Therefore prior to course delivery we welcome clients to give us input into their HSEMS to provide a "bespoke service" .
